What AI upscaling can and cannot fix
Upscaling increases pixel dimensions and tries to restore edge detail. It is useful when the only copy of a logo is a small PNG, compressed JPG, or downloaded social avatar. It can make the next export step cleaner, especially for transparent PNGs, social images, and vector tracing.
It cannot recover a perfect original. If text is unreadable, strokes are fused together, or the logo was heavily compressed, the model may sharpen the wrong things. For legal marks, exact typography, and print-critical artwork, use the original vector file or request one from the designer.

Do not upscale when you already have the original SVG, PDF, AI, or high-resolution export. Use the original vector source instead. Do not rely on upscaling to fix misspelled text, recreate a missing font, or make a copied low-resolution logo legally safe to use.
